Western Idaho Fair - Iconic Food To Try
WESTERN IDAHO FAIR FOOD FAVES!
There is so much food when you head to the fair … today the Western Idaho Fair started and I had to go scope out the scene … below is a list of the most iconic fair food you will find there:
Spud Stick from Mr. Bee’s … an entire potato sliced, fried, seasoned, and placed on a stick! The perfect ‘walking around’ treat and it’s super fun to look at too!
Fresh Coconut Water right out of a coconut complete with festive tropical umbrella! Find these at The Coconut Guy … you have to see this booth too … a vintage VW bus camper set up as a food truck! And quite the photo opportunity too!
Idaho Ice Cream Potato … so iconic in every way … and totally Idaho! It’s a must get for sure!
Mini Doughnuts from Holy Oly O’s … and they have refreshing drinks too!
Ice Cold Lemonade … is there anything better on a hot day at the fair? I think not … lots of booths available while you walk the fair and tons of great flavor options too!
Elephant Ears … again, iconic … when you think of going to the fair, this might be one of the first treats that crosses your mind to get! I love the one today that was topped with chocolate and strawberries. YUM!
Gyros … one of the best handheld treats around … a gyro and the fair just go together. Find a number of stands at the fair serving up gyros and Greek fries! DELICIOUS!
Funnel Cakes … this deep fried German pastry can be topped with a number of things and is a quintessential fair favorite.
Corn on the Cob on a Stick … loved this mexican flavored corn on the cob stick … a great snack to walk around eating and less messy too!
Well, there you have it … a great list to get you started at the fair!
