The Basque Market - Paella On The Patio - Boise

Last week my daughter and I went to The Basque Market in downtown Boise to experience their Paella on the Patio … it was INCREDIBLE … I can’t even describe how amazing this was … We watched from start to finish the process of making paella in a traditional ‘large’ pan … to watch the entire process you definitely need to get down there early … we got there at 10:30 … the food is served at noon … but if you want a seat, you definitely need to arrive early … plus this show shouldn’t be missed!

Tony, owner and maker of the Paella, is a joy to chat with … he knows so much about Basque history and the history of the Basque district in Boise … and watching him create this dish is quite a sight!

Their market doubles as a restaurant … or maybe it’s the other way around … either way, you can order all sorts of delicious food and drink items and also shop in their market.
