A List of Places to Eat in Lava Hot Springs Idaho
Let’s take a tour of Lava Hot Springs where food and restaurants are concerned! Now, keep in mind … we didn’t eat at all of these …. but I did walk around with my family and snap photos of places to eat, coffee shops, and breweries in town … below is a list of those and then below the list are some snapshots from our time there! The town is SO cute and there are definitely some gems!
78 Main Street Eatery - we did go here for breakfast and it was pretty decent! Cute vibe, clean, lots of tables!
Royal Hotel and Pizza - SO GOOD! We grabbed pizza at this spot before we went to soak in the Lava Hot Springs hot pools and we were very satisfied!
Eruption Brewery - absolutely delicious!! Smash burgers, sandwiches, beer and ciders … right on the river where you can watch the tube riders float the river! So good!!
Nectar Coffee Roasters - we did go here for coffee …. slim pickings for coffee in Lava Hot Springs, so it was hard for me (being a coffee snob) … this place caffeinated me but it was just ‘ok’
Idaho Coffee Company - looks to be a pretty amazing coffee food truck … sadly it wasn’t open when were were visiting the town
The Rooftop Sports Bar - SUPER COOL looking!! One we sadly didn’t try, but it looks like there are a bunch of different tiers of outdoor patios and it’s situated up on the hill overlooking the town and river.
Sweet Stuff - known for their ‘square ice cream’ cone scoops … they also have a huge assortment of candy and sweets … we brought our kids here for an ice-cream cone and they did love it!
The Shack - this place is literally a shack on the main drive through town …. sadly not open when we were there, but it looks like a cute vibe and a quick stop for some food before you float the river!
I wouldn’t call Lava Hot Springs a ‘foodie town’ by any means, but if you love food there are definitely some gems and you won’t go hungry, that’s for sure!! The town is very casual … my kids wore their swimsuits everywhere we went with a tee shirt or a coverup on … very chill and quickly become one of our favorite summer spots!
