This dessert is CRAZY GOOD … like, you will find me sitting on the amazing outdoor patio at River Six Restaurant in Kuna just ordering this butter cake … they call it Our Famous Butter Cake and it’s beyond delicious … I can’t wait to go back for more!
FRUIT AND CREAM AT HEMLOCK IN DOWNTOWN BOISE
I absolutely love this seed oil free restaurant in Boise … Hemlock knows what they are doing and that doesn’t stop at dessert … they have a ton of options for dessert, but my absolute favorite is the Fruit and Cream … the flavors all come together so perfectly and I will never say no to a plate of whipped cream done properly.
LAVENDER HONEY ICE CREAM AT SALTBRUSH
This ice cream from Saltbrush in Boise may look basic, but it’s anything but … smooth, sweet, flavorful … the way it’s plated is extraordinary and the honeycomb paired with ice cream is the perfect cold treat.

If you live in Treasure Valley and haven’t had the Honey Cake at Alyonka Russian Cuisine yet, I need you to stop reading this and just dash over there now … it’s THAT delicious!

This beautiful and delicious display is available at The Lively in downtown Boise … the part that not a lot of people are aware of is that you want to scoop your spoon all the way to the bottom of the coffee cup so you can get ALL THE LAYERS of goodness … it’s beyond … so so so good!
THE CREPE CAKE AT RARE STEAKHOUSE
Have you ever had a crepe cake? I hadn’t until I went to Rare Steakhouse in Star … it’s a very interesting texture and takes some getting used to … but a couple bites in, I was hooked!! This dessert is so light and fluffy and so delicious!

If you are celebrating a birthday, this dessert is such a good choice … Fork in downtown Boise is an incredible place and this dessert helped put them on the map!
