My Favorite Boise Breakfast Spots
I’m not a huge breakfast person, so if I’m excited about heading to eat breakfast, that is a huge testament to the restaurant / breakfast spot … below are my favorite local spots to grab a morning meal … including links to view more from each spot!
HEMLOCK BOISE
This spot has one of the best breakfasts I have ever had … the french toast was AMAZING … they have a ton of delicious cocktails / mocktails for the morning time …. definitely recommend heading to have breakfast at Hemlock in downtown Boise!
TIPSY CHEF CAFE
We ordered the blueberry pancakes which are HUGE and delicious ... the french toast ... eggs Benedict ... breakfast potatoes ... lattes ... all so yummy!!! Can't recommend enough! Plus Tipsy Chef Cafe has a darling patio outside to catch some sunshine while you dine.
THE GROVE BY LEMON TREE
So many delicious options at the Parkcenter Boise Grove by Lemon Tree location … french toast, breakfast burger, breakfast tacos, pancakes, and more! So delish!!
THE TOWER GRILL - NAMPA
This is a total experience!!! The Tower Grill gives you a fun experience paired with an amazing patio and delicious food … watch the airplanes land and take off while you enjoy a delicious breakfast (or lunch!).
ROSE HILL BAKERY - CALDWELL
Rose Hill Bakery in Caldwell is a local treasure … entirely SEED OIL FREE, this bakery offers sweet and savory options … I also love that their sprinkles are dye free.
SMASH ALLEY BREAKFAST SANDOS
This breakfast sandwich is the BEST I HAVE HAD in Boise … no joke … highly recommend finding out when Smash Alley is open for breakfast next and heading down!
BARABOO SUPPER CLUB
Now offering brunch on weekends!!! I took my family and we had the best time!! My kids are 12 and 14 and loved it!! My husband loves breakfast food and was so happy … we all went back to visit the buffet tables multiple times to try new things … they have an omelette station, mocktails and cocktails to order, bagels, French toast, Croque madame, and then of course all the breakfast staples we all love: bacon, potatoes multiple ways, eggs Benedict, sausage, and fresh fruit! I recommend making a reservation before you head down to Baraboo Supper Club brunch.
MOON’S KITCHEN CAFE
Looking for an AMAZING breakfast diner in downtown Boise?? Highly recommend checking out Moon’s Kitchen Cafe … they have a darling diner vibe happening and some would say perhaps the BEST beignets in all of Idaho!! They also serve delicious Moon Babies and plenty of savory options as well … always wanted to have a milkshake for breakfast?? Well, they have you covered!!
LOVING LEFSE
Loving Lefse is a food truck in Boise that serves coffee and delicious Norwegian flatbread called Lefse! It’s absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!

Janjou Pâtisserie is a MUST GO … but get there early … the line will be long if you show up too late or they might run out of what you were hoping to get … yes, it’s THAT delicious!
