Bear Lake State Park - North Beach

My family and I recently took a trip to Bear Lake - WOW, what an amazing town and lake this is!!! On the Idaho side of Bear Lake there is a gorgeous beach called North Beach and it is the perfect spot to spend the day! We brought a shade canopy to set up, our paddle boards, swimsuits, a picnic lunch, and our sense of adventure! The water turns the most magical color of turquoise when the sun is up above, which got this beach its name of: The Caribbean of the Rockies …I recommend making parking reservations online before you to and arrive early to avoid the very long lines of cars waiting to enter the park. Getting their early also gets you dibs on the best place to set up your camp … we chose right next to the bathrooms!
